Schmidt's Sausage Truck Will Be There!

Distinguished Companions, please promote this event everywhere you go in Masonry.

Last year was our inaugural event and it was a fantastic night. The colors were posted by the Commandry and the National Anthem was sung a cappella by a member of the Aladdin Shrine. The Goldsmith Kids, all adopted, performed Amazing Grace. They are amazing musicians.

Ralph Stanley II, a Brother and Shriner, and the Clinch Mountain Boys did two sets and the crowd wanted more. It was a great show by one of the best bluegrass bands in the country. We were very fortunate to be able to book them. Ralph and the Boys liked the event so well that Ralph announced during the second set that they would be back next year same weekend. That was a bit of a surprise to us but they are coming back. The Dave Adkins Band is another great act and Dave is a Brother and Shriner as well.

We had an attendance of about 300 and made a little money. We expect to double that number this year.
You can help us reach that number and bring a few friends.

REC Daniel Smith summed it up best when he stated that it was a night that brought the masons and public together for an evening of great music and fellowship. It was a success in all aspects. Masonry was in fine form!

To the best of my knowledge this was a first in masonry of Ohio. The 11th Capitular District’s goal is to continue this event and grow it into a full day festival and eventually a weekend festival. Please do your very best to support this effort and Capitular Masonry in Ohio.
